Workshop Technician

Workshop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, adherence to safety and quality guidelines, and effective communication with the service team to ensure timely and efficient vehicle turnaround.
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections, etc.).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report any additional required work.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on job cards or digital systems.
• Ensure workshop tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with service advisors and parts department for smooth workflow.
• Attend technical training sessions as required.
Skills Required:
•Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
•Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
•Familiarity with workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
•Basic computer literacy for using service software
•Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work.
•Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment.
